I was born in 1969. My dad served in the military services so we didn’t really stay put till he retired. It did make it hard for me to make new friends as a child because soon as we settled, it seemed like it was time to move again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even as a child I have always been interested in arts and crafts. I have worked on ceramics, pot holders, crochet, knitting, friendship bracelets, tie knot blankets, God’s eyes, and even coloring. I remember one summer even selling painted rocks very cheap and a few of my neighbors bought them. I can’t say i have a favorite because I do enjoy all of them. What got me back into bracelets was a friend of mine had been making some and she was selling hers too. I started making bracelets and necklaces out of bands and friendship threads like she was also doing, but then I also added making bracelets out of paracord. I also have made a pot holder, which she doesn’t do either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In my spare time, I also work on my family genealogy. I have gotten far on it and I’m hoping to get it finished soon. It’s like I tell everyone that I talk to about it though, the hints and research seems to be never-ending. I have found a few interesting facts about our family line by doing this. A couple of facts I found out is that we’re related to Pocahontas, Henry Fonda, and Jane Fonda. I’m still not done working on my family lines but those are what I came across so far that were interesting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
